This place had a great location, with a large supermarket and fast-food joint nearby.

I like it's location - away from, but accessible to, Funchal. I like that it's quiet. I like the views (from every room). I think the informal buffet arrangement is good and efficient.

The beds are quite hard.

The value for money at Orca Praia was great, with nice, clean rooms and an amazing view. The location was perfect, right beside the beach and a short walk from Churchill Bay. The staff were polite and courteous, making our stay enjoyable.

The breakfast selection could have been improved, particularly with more variety of options.

A Chill Stay 🍹 Here for the first time and had a great time chilling out at the pool bar in the evenings. It was so nice and relaxing.

The value for money at the hotel was great, considering the spacious and nicely furnished rooms, with a comfortable bed and a gorgeous view of the sea from the big terrace. The location was perfect, right on the beach, with a lovely part of Famosa Beach just in front of the hotel. The staff at Orca Praia were incredibly cooperative and polite, making check-in quick and providing helpful assistance throughout our stay.

While the walk to Funchal is quite long, there is a free shuttle during weekdays, and the city bus stops right outside the hotel.

loved our stay in funchal, and this hotel made it even better! the friendly staff, tidy rooms, and breathtaking ocean view exceeded my expectations. the pool and beachfront location were perfect. highly recommend if you want a relaxing and enjoyable vacation!

No air con or fan.

The view from the terrace was breathtaking, overlooking the vast blue ocean was worth every penny. the staff was polite and always ready to help, making our stay comfortable. the breakfast was delicious and had a good variety of options to choose from. the pool was clean and well-maintained, providing a perfect spot to take a dip and relax.

The climb to the pool and beach was quite steep and tiring, not ideal for those with mobility issues. the room felt a bit outdated and in need of some renovation, especially the bathroom.
